Have you been searching for a Warrior Leveling Guide to help speed along your leveling? When you’re searching for the best Warrior Leveling Build you’re going to hear a lot of different opinions on how to level a warrior.
Some believe going “Arms” is the way, others say “Fury” then there are those who go the route of even Protection! Each spec has it’s ups and downs, for instance, Fury doesn’t give you that much +hit which is bad for PVP and higher level mobs, however if you need the best leveling warrior build, Fury is a Warrior leveling spec that will yield results faster than any other in PVE.
They are able to play 3 fairly different roles depending on the talent tree they choose to specialize in.
- Protection Warriors are highly established as one of the most able tanking choices. With abilities such as Shield Block, Thunder Clap and Demoralising Shout at their disposal they are essential to most end game boss encounters.
- Fury Warriors, while highly gear dependant, are solid melee dps and can rival Rogues on the damage meters when played properly. With buffs like Battle Shout to offer, they are a handy addition to any raid.
- Arms Warriors excel in PvP encounters with their deadly 2H weapons, combined with high health/armour and a range of abilities such as Disarm to hinder their enemies, they’re a fearsome opponent to come up against in a Battleground or Arena Match.
Talent Builds for Leveling
Build #1: 19/52/0 Fury + Arms Build – This is a solid level 80 leveling build, from Zygor’s Guide, complete with glyphs. It’s intended to get you into Titan’s Grip ASAP. It’s not intended to be a true raiding or PvP build.
Fury Talents
3 pts in Armored to the Teeth – More armor = more damage.
5 pts in Cruelty – Yes, we like crits, and it helps with other talents.
4 of 5 pts in Unbridled Wrath – More Rage
3 pts in Improved Cleave – More Cleave damage
5 pts in Dual Wield Specialization – Use two weapons, rage comes faster. ’nuff said
3 pts in Precision – Hit more often = More damage and more threat
Death Wish – More damage. Great for DPS and leveling.
2 pts in Improved Intercept – More frequent Intercepts
5 pts in Flurry – More crits = more attacks = more damage and threat
Blood Thirst – Instant attack and restores a bit of health
2 pts in Improved Whirlwind – More Whirlwind damage
5 pts in Improved Berserker Stance – More Srength = more damage , but less threat
Rampage – More crits for your team
3 pts in Bloodsurge – Your next Slam might be instant (20% chance)
5 pts in Unending Fury – More damage
Titan’s Grip – Wield two 2-hand weapons. What’s not to like?
Arms Talents
3 pts in Improved Heroic Strike – Lowered rage cost.
2 pts out of 5 in Deflection – 2% parry
2 pts in Iron Will – Lower the duration of Stun and Charms
3 pts in Tactical Mastery – More efficient rage management, more threat in Def. stance.
Anger Management – More Rage
2 pts in Impale – More crit damage
3 pts in Deep Wounds – Adds a bleed to your crits
3 pts in Two-Handed Weapon Specialization – More damage with your two 2-handers
This build allows you to pump out massive amounts of consistent damage combined with frequent critical strikes, giving a near permanent flurry buff and maxing out white damage.
Use Dual Weild when you get the ability at level 20. You will get faster rage generation and more damage.
The Fury + Arms build covers almost any need as far as talents go, picking up all the necessary ones and essentially going for maximum efficiency as far as a well geared fury warrior is concerned. However, that’s not to say it’s in any way perfect for your warrior, so feel free to experiment as you go and find your match.
Cruelty provides us with a staple damage increase. It also gives us the much needed critical strikes that become oh-so-very-important at the later levels, largely due to Flurry. It’s probably one of the best talents in the tree despite occupying the first tier.
Second tier we pick up Unbridled Wrath, this also helps greatly at all levels – Hilariously enough, I skipped this my first time through the game, way back at release, and instead picked up Booming Voice, as Unbridled Wrath seemed rather weak to me at a first glance. Don’t make this same mistake. The Unbridled Wrath talent is yet another must have as it really shows when you’ve maxed it out and proceed to fill your rage pool *while* fully spamming all abilities.
At one point in time I’d favored Enrage over Dual-wield Specialization, however, that time has passed, and, for consistency, I now pick up five points in Dual-wield Spec as opposed to my prior builds – I’d recommend you do the same.
Flurry is the real killer, however. It rounds out the builds damage abilities with a massive, consistent increase of damage throughout practically every fight. Just one thing: you might not notice it being quite as good as I’m playing it up to be, until you’ve – A: maxed it out, 5/5, and B: built up a decent critical rating.
Bloodthirst, Rampage, Improved Berserker stance, etc. – aAll these simply build upon already present damage dealing capabilities. Learn to use them correctly, and they truly become a boon. Use them incorrectly, and you’ll likely notice minimal effect.
Build #2: 54/17/0 Arms + fury build – An Arms Warrior leveling build with better ability to fight multiple mobs. It has comparable DPS to Fury, but less healing, so there is a bit more downtime.
Attack Rotation:Start attack macro – this will initiate your attack even if you don’t have the rage to use Heroic Strike (HS.)
#showtooltip Heroic Strike
/startattack
/cast Heroic Strike
Get a bow (or gun or throwing knife or…) Use it to pull mobs from groups or to shoot runners.
Start with Charge, then Rend – So many mobs run away. This way they run and die.
Spam HS as rage permits
Get Glyph of Rend, just more time for them to bleed
Multiple mobs – Rend each one, spam Cleave
Use Intimidating Shout to scare adds, as necessary.
Gear & Progression
Stamina, strength, and agility are the stats that a warrior depends on. They help allow the warrior to take damage and keep his health up. So it is important to outfit your character with gear that boosts these stats. Generally speaking a mix of gear from the Bear or Monkey armor is a good combination. The trick with this gear is to mix it. Don’t go for a whole set of one or the other.
Leveling warrior guide that contain the in game add on make this whole process so much easier as they have arrows that are installed onto the WoW platform.
If you are sick of painstakingly slow leveling and just want to be level 80 as fast as possible you can not go passed this guide. If you want to level faster so you can get to the real meat of the game, you need to give Zygor’s LevelingWarrior Guide a try. I hope you found this information useful, peace out all!
